The girls tennis team started the season on a good note by defeating the Mexico Bulldogs 9-0. Singles winners were Ashley Roling, Meghan Crider, Danica Shimkus, Erin Mills, Abby Gober, and Taylor Luetkemeyer. The doubles teams that it a clean sweep were Ashley Rolingand Erin Mills at #1 doubles, Meghan Crider and Abby Gober at #2 doubles, and Danica Shimkus and Taylor Luetkemeyer at #3 doubles. The Lady Crusaders are back in action tonight at Washington Park when they host Waynesville.

The Lady Crusaders only victory came at number 2 singles. Meghan Crider won 8-4. Meghan and her partner, Ashley Roling lost a tough doubles match 7-9 at #1 doubles.

The girls tennis lost 0-9 to Rock Bridge on Wednesday.

The Lady Crusaders had a successful voyage to the Lake of the Ozarks on Tuesday. The girls took 4 of the 6 singles matches and 2 of the 3 doubles matches. Singles winners were Danica Shimkus, Erin Mills, Brianna Smith, and Grace Chen. The winning doubles teams were Erin Mills / Brianna Smith and Grace Chen / Danica Shimkus. The Lady Crusaders are now 7-4.

The Lady Crusader tennis team placed second at the Hannibal Tournament. Erin Mills won the #4 singles flight. The follwing girls places second in their respective flights Ashley Roling, Danica Shimkus, Brianna Smith, Taylor Luetkemeyer. The doubles teams of Morgan Dunville / Grace Chen, Taylor Steinmetz / Melissa Gassner and Liz Loethen/ Cassidy Schrimpf finished 3rd in their doubles flights. Emily Stumpe / Savannah Padgett placed fourth.
