2011 is now underway. We have about 30 runners preparing for this upcoming season. The Lady Crusaders will be trying to repeat as district champions and do well at state. Returning for the ladies are Juniors, Suzie Ahlvers, Joni Reinkemeyer, and Sarah Wieberg. Sophomores returning with varsity experience include Ali Boudreau, Lydia Lindenbardt and Amanda Patino. With some talented jv and new faces on the seen, this team looks to provide some exciting races.
The Crusaders have only four lettermen returning and will be looking at some new faces to fill in the varisty lineup. Returners include senior Nick Vellios, juniors Vincent Altomari, all-stater Michael McCoy, and Eric Prullage. Junior August Schulte and Sophomore Jared Belt could provide some help as well as some of last years jv and new personnel. We will definately be a work in progress, but hope to be competitive by district meet time.
Our first test will occur on Saturday August 27 at Binder Park as we hold our annual intersquad race.
